Team members are individuals who are passionate about indie-film and want to spread the word about Pedal.
Using social tools like Twitter, Facebook, Virb and Digg to reach out and expand a network of people.
As a team member, you would be critical in having a real impact in Pedal's outreach campaign! Join the campaign!
Whether or not you're ready to become part of the Pedal team - here's a handful of options for getting involved with the project to help spread the word and stay up to date on production.
Word of mouth goes a long way for indie films! Obviously we don't have the budget to plaster our film on the
side of every building and highway we can get our hands on... so we rely heavily on awesome people who find our film,
like it, and decide to tell someone else about it.
There's countless ways to spread the word: Twitter, link-love, IMing, emailing, sky writing, et cetera. Be as creative or
as straight forward as you'd like. I suppose there's also physically approaching someone and verbally telling them about Pedal...
but that's crazy talk.
We are so excited about reaching out to other travelers, and using
all the amazing experiences we've had, and all the beautiful places
we've seen, to build a real sense of being connected by the road
we've all shared at different points in time.
All you need to do to be a part of For Thousands of
Miles is upload any pictures or videos to Stockpile (in doing
so you're granting us permission to include those materials in the
film under a Creative Commons license).
On top of sharing them with us, you're also putting them out into
the world for other people to enjoy - people who perhaps are
planning their own trips and are in need of inspiration, or maybe
people who have take the exact same route as you might have years
ago and are looking to reminisce :)
